Patricia Wiggenhorn

Patricia M. Wiggenhorn (Pat) is a skilled corporate communications executive with broad experience building integrated communications programs, speech-writing, executive coaching, and improving the business literacy of global corporate audiences.

Patricia WiggenhornPat was vice president and director of communications and public affairs at telecommunications giant Motorola.  While there, she worked closely with the senior team to implement strategic communication plans that aligned communications activities with corporate objectives.  She introduced a number of communications initiatives, extensively improved the frequency and quality of leadership communication, and implemented a multi-tiered approach to informing, aligning, and reinforcing messages to 140,000 employees throughout the world.

When Pat left Motorola in 2002 upon relocation to Pennsylvania, the company’s chief operating officer lauded the “special support you provided me as we communicated with our people — it was benchmark,” and the chairman and chief executive officer wrote, “you have wonderful values, a gifted writing style, and extraordinarily good judgment.”

Pat has managed people, projects, and processes throughout the world.  As an executive coach, Pat now helps other professionals become the best they can be. Pat holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Dayton, pursued graduate studies in industrial psychology at Western Connecticut State University, and holds a Master’s of Science in Management Degree from Rosemont College.
